HBK introduced Virtual reality into their design concepts to create an interactive digital environment that allows their clients to experience full immersion into their project. Instead of just looking at drawings or renderings, their client puts on a VR headset and finds themselves inside a yet-to-be-built design. VR technologies have allowed HBK Architects to experience their designs in immersive virtual environments. This will aid in evaluating spatial relationships, testing, design concepts and identifying potential issues before construction begins.

At Annie’s Traditional Food, staying ahead means investing in technology that enhances both production efficiency and food safety. Faced with outdated systems that couldn’t keep pace with growing data needs, Annie’s used #DTFF funding to invest in integrated IoT solutions, enabling real-time temperature monitoring across their entire production facility.
Drayne’s Farm in Lisburn has been a family-run dairy since 1932. Today, they’re blending tradition with innovation by using a collaborative robot (cobot) to support their growing ice cream production line. With support from the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund (DTFF), Drayne’s Farm introduced a robotic arm that fills pans of ice cream at the final stage of production.
